Cottage, Bed & Breakfast

Visitors to Applecroft Cottages love being out-of-town, but only minutes to Barossa wineries, eateries and attractions. Our small acres, surrounded by large vineyard and grazing properties, are a haven for native birds and guests! Jacob's Creek, which borders the property, is home to fabulous River Redgums and new plantings as part of a Landcare project. The garden gazebo and quiet 'nooks' around the property, provide great places for enjoying a coffee or wine, and each other...
Indoors, 'attention to detail' ensures all your needs are catered for. Furniture has been specially commissioned - its stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, leather lounges are, well.... 'loungable', the 4 poster is very special and we don't scimp on wood for the fire!
Very generous breakfast provisions use local products - wait til you taste Linke's bacon! Ai's rock buns made with Barossa port are a special treat with the fine teas, infusions and coffees provided. Try a great coffee from the new espresso machine - you'll think you're at a cafe!

Locality

60 km's from Adelaide city, about 1 1/2 max hours from the city/airport. We are high in the ranges, but only 4 minutes down to the floor of the valley. We're not the place to come if you need street lights to sleep - our locality is secluded and traquil. Many people come with great plans but find they can recharge their batteries without leaving the property! We have chooks and geese, a host of native birds (they live at Applecroft by their own choice!) and soon some wallabies.
