The cottage sits at the front of the Blue Moon Cottages site which houses three very private cottages. Walking through your own private high walled courtyard with outdoor entertaining for 8-10 people and a sunny spot where you can relax you enter the cottage into a beautifully decorated lounge and dining area. With polished baltic pine floors and leadlight windows and a closed wood burning fire this room is cosy in winter and light and spacious in summer. The cottage style kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, and all the amenities you need. Heated with ducted heating in addition to the fire it is very cosy for winter and fully air conditioned for summer. The downstairs spacious bathroom has bath and overhead shower. Upstairs a second lounge room has entertainment with TV and Video, books, magazines, games, videos,jigsaws etc. This room faces North and overlooks the property toward the sea. French doors lead out to a sunny balcony with lounge chairs for relaxing with a chilled glass of something special.

Summer or winter

Perfect for couples, families or groups this cottages is so cosy in winter when you can walk on the beaches with your dog, cosy up in the wineries with a glass of red and a log fire or take a dip in the nearby Peninsula Hot Springs. In summer it is a perfect spot for the beach only a two minute walk and you are on one of the best beaches. Safe shallow clear bayside water and white sand. Safe for the kids to play. Walk a little further to Rye itself for dinner in the evening or to get breakfast early in the morning.

Comfy for kids and pets

Kids are accommodated with videos, games, toys, books and the beach is their best entertainment. Pets are welcome with consultation with the owners. We can provide a kennel if required. The fully secure courtyard makes it safe for pets and children to play.

1. Please bring your own bedding and bowls for your pets.
2. Do not allow pets on bedding and furniture (or bring a blanket to cover).
3. Do not lock pets inside while you are out. We do not take responsibility for pets left in courtyards or fenced gardens, you must do so at your own risk.
4. Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable. Complaints from nearby residents and guests will be referred directly to the owners,
5. Please check the courtyards and garden areas thoroughly before you leave and clean up any messes left by your pets.
6. Large or small kennel available on request.
7. We know all pets are not created equally so please discuss any concerns you have with us.
