Cottage, Farm stays

This comfortable accomodation is at a price which is low for Robe. We aim to make staying in Robe affordable to those of you who want to visit regularly or who are on a budget!

In Robe you always get in a car (2WD also) to drive along longbeach so why not save some money and spend it on the cafe's, resturants or shops in Robe or just save!. This cabin is only 3km and a few minutes drive to the longbeach access or surf beach.

This self contained cabin offers two bedrooms including a queen, double and one bunk bed providing comfortable accommodation for up to 6 visitors.

The outdoor entertaining includes a deck and table and chairs with BBQ facilities. Great for relaxing with warm morning sun and afternoon shade. In the secure yard there is an additional small table and deck chairs with a chimanea and wood provided so you can enjoy a confined fire in the evenings and melt a marshmallow or two (our kids favorite!).

The kitchen has a microwave, large fridge, stove, small oven and lots of crockery.

The bathroom has a toilet and shower but no bath, only a laundry tub for a small toddler or baby. The washing machine and clothes line provides washing and drying of those sandy or dirty clothes from a fun day out.

There is plenty of parking space including two bays (6mx9mx3.2m heigh) available for undercover parking of boats, horse floats, motorbikes, 4WD for all those extra activities in Robe.

It is a myth that Robe is for summer months the still sunny days in autumn and winter are our favourite.Come and enjoy this quiet location with so many activities only a stones throw away.

Robe can be a busy place in summer and this quiet cabin is a great way to enjoy the best of the country and what the town has to offer.

No smoking is permitted inside the cabin.

The house has been really well designed and although compact, the space was excellently used - very comfy living and we loved the deck & setting. Being able to take the pets was ace (3 Labradors). Location & Activities

Only 5km to Robe and 3km to Longbeach or <2km to 3rd ramp surf beach this property can be found tucked away 300m from any roads. Traveling from Robe go 3km from longbeach along the kingston Hwy turn right down Sandy lane, then 300m turn left down Nunga Mia Rd, take the first driveway on your left it has a wooden slat fence and casuarina tree at the entrance (see red markings on aerial photo).

Beach

Less than 5 minutes drive to the beach.

The property is located 2km from the long beach 3rd ramp car park and 4WD surf access and 3km from the second ramp (longbeach) which gives access to 2WD if sand permits. There are also good beaches for surfing, fishing and diving.

Bushwalking & wilderness

Located near a National Park.

There are bushwalking tracks in the Little Dip National Park 5km from the property.

Family Friendly

Portacot available, Plastic crockery and cutlery available for children, Games/videos for children under 5 available, Games/videos for children between 5 and 12 available, Fenced/safe outdoor play area.

There is a large gravel area for kids to ride bikes alongside the cabin and well away from roads. There is an Xbox and a few games for quiet time or poor weather.

Horse riding

Horse riding available nearby, Guests are welcome to bring their own horses.

Bring your horse and ride to the beach or along the drain to lake Hawdon. The track to the beach is away from roads(see black lines on aerial photo), go out the rear gate across the highway and then behind the roadside scrub to the fence follow either to surf beach road or back to Robe and along the lane to the beach. You can ride all the way to Boatswain Pt and beyond on 4WD scrub, dune and beach tracks. It is 1.5km to the beach and 10km to Boatswains pt. The paddocks are electric fenced for your horses safety but agist at your own risk.

Motor Bike Friendly

Motor bike riders welcome, Motor bike parking available.

Our property is alongside the motorcross track you can get a key once you register for a small cost contact Heath: 0419842846. Riding on the property is restricted to entry and exit with respect to horses on the property. There is a great riding track along the drain only a few km down sandy lane. There is also a track to the beach marked black on the aerial photo. Parking under cover in large farm shed is available.

Pet friendly

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Secure, fully fenced running area, Bedding/sleeping area provided, Other domesticated animals reside at the property.

The accomodation has a fully fenced yard for the exclusive use of cabin guests and their pets.

Wake boarding / water skiing

Wake boarding and/or water skiing facilities nearby, Boat ramp within 5 minute drive.

The ski lake in Robe is 4km from our property and provides a skiing area and boat ramp. There is under cover parking area for boats in a large rural shed.

Windsurfing/Kitesailing

Popular windsurfing and/or kitesailing spots nearby.

Robe is great for kitesurfing as longbeach provides 11km of car access beach and areas that are not crowded if you have a 4WD, there are often windy periods during the day. There is an instructor in the area that can be booked on request.
