The comfortable 3 bedroom home is set in picturesque garden surrounds,
and features superb original artworks throughout.

Terraced gardens lead down to the Lake's edge where trees and walking trails create and enchanting environment for all ages. Your boat can be moored in front of the house.

Relax on the north facing sheltered deck and enjoy a BBQ with family and friends in total privacy.

A five minute stroll will lead you to the town centre where you can sample local produce and superb dining, shopping and galleries, or just enjoy Robe's pristine beaches.

A Ski View is perfect for that relaxing winter break, or a summer of skiing, bushwalking and nature trails right at you doorstep. Popular swimming and surfing beaches are also nearby.

Swim at Hoopers Beach in a sheltered cove, or stroll along Town Beach. Visit Long Beach along the scenic cliff top walk via "the outlet".

A Ski View is completely private. It is surrounded by lush gardens with views of the lake, and only a short stroll to the beach, shops and eateries. A Ski View's master suite is upstairs and includes an en suite bathroom and walk in robe. There is also a spacious living room on this level.

Art & Craft

A Ski View is owned and operated by one of Robe's well know local artists. The beautiful and original art works throughout the house create a unique atmosphere.
Exhibitions are held periodically at Wilsons Art Gallery in Robe.
Jessie's art is represented in private collections around the world and in the National Print Gallery of Australia.

Beach

Less than 5 minutes drive to the beach.

Walk or drive to nearby beaches for surfing, swimming and all other water sports.
Enjoy the walking trails leading from A Ski View to Hooper's Beach, Town Beach, or along the cliff top to Long Beach via "the outlet".
The nearest beach is about a 10 minute walk, depending on how much you meander on the way.

Birdwatching

A Ski View overlooks Lake Felmongery, which is a haven for water birds. The surrounding bush is home to many species, and Blue Wrens are quite tame in the garden and can be seen while relaxing on the deck. Wake to bird song and the sounds of nature each morning.

Bushwalking & wilderness

Located near a National Park, Bushwalking maps provided.

Bush walking trails leaving from A Ski View fan out all around Robe.
Maps are provided for guests, as many trails through the bush to the beach are almost invisible to the new visitor!
There are coastal and beach walks all around Robe as well as Little Dip National Park.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Canoe and/or Kayak facilities available nearby, Guests welcome to bring their own canoe/kayak, Secure storage facilities available, Located on waterfront, Less than 5 minutes walk to water.

Lake Felmongery is a great place to explore by canoe or kayak. Boat launching facilities are just around the corner at the ski beach. Guests can moor their boat in the Lake at the foot of our garden, then walk up our private path to the house. Canoeing is lovely on the Lake in the quiet season when there is no water skiing.

Families have always enjoyed staying at A Ski View. It has a fantastic natural environment. The ti trees around the lake provide hours of fun.. playing and exploring. A magic world of dappled light and sparking water for children of all ages!
There is also plenty of room to play on the lawn, and a spacious north facing deck which is sheltered for use all year.
Inside, the children's bedrooms are down stairs, with G rated videos and second T.V..This leaves the parents in peace upstairs to sleep in.. if you're lucky!

The spacious master suite is upstairs and includes queensize bed, en suite bathroom and walk in robe. This area opens to a large, comfortable lounge room with private views across the lake.

Wake boarding / water skiing

With frontage to Lake Felmongery, "the Ski Lake", A Ski View is in the box seat for skiing!
Secure parking is available on request for your boat, as well as the lock up garage for your vehicle.
Just around the corner is the ski beach and boat launching ramp.. or walk through the garden and around the lake's edge.
In February 2010 Robe hosted its 10th ski competition. Some of the country's best competed in the slalom tournament. "The Robe tournament has turned into the premier event in SA due to the excellent facilities, numbers in attendance and results."

Robe is a popular wind and kite sailing destination, with the National Kite Surfing Championships held here in October 2009. The weather was excellent. Long Beach is a short drive from A Ski View. The Kite Surfing instructor lives just down the road, and is happy to teach you with his 20 years experience. Ask for more details if interested.
