"The cottage was great, cosy and very pretty. The gardens are lovley and I loved the fact that it was so quiet. I cant say one thing that was best about our stay as it was all good. It is close to the shops and is great if you want to go for a stroll around Richmond, its not far from anything. I really got the feeling of being in the counrty when the birds started to sing in the morning, it wasnt annoying it was soft and soothing and were telling you time to get up and enjoy the day. We loved staying there and have told all our friends about it. My husband and I stayed at the Wrest Point Hotel Casino a few weeks before and stayed in one of their expensive rooms, ($258 a night), and I must say I would rather stay in Hollyhock Cottage. "

The town of Richmond was a wonderful choice. We enjoyed the quaint, small town with it's historical sites, warm and friendly people. It was our base from which we travelled to Hobart and other spots in Southern Tasmania.
