"We had a fabulous time in Richmond and surrounds. Richmond is an ideal base for exploring the South-Eastern corner of Tassie. Added to the proximity of everything, the accommodation is situated right in the midst of history. It is difficult to imagine that 187 years ago, past generations were going about their daily tasks within the same rooms! "

"The cottage location was beautiful. Only a short stroll away and under the bridge we found Richmond's ducks swimming among the reeds! In the other direction a quality selection of restaurants and cafes. We only wish we could have stayed longer! "

"We enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable stay in an historic and charming cottage. The gorgeous cottage was fully equipped with breakfast, a fire was set each night for us to enjoy where we relaxed with the port and chocolates, along with fresh towels each day. The wonderful Shirley even rang us to ask us our choice of bread, milk and orange juice before our arrival. Shirley and the cottage were a delight for us during our stay in Richmond, and will be the reason why we will go back again."
