The unit has brochure information on Swan Bay and its bird life and the Bellarine Tourist Information Centre, located in Hesse Street, is a short distance from the unit. The Marine Discovery Centre, which is located on the highway, has detailed descriptions of local bird and aquatic life and also has a hide overlooking Swan Bay.

Queenscliff is popular for fishing and the waterfront is approx a 10-12mins walk from the unit. Brochures on tides and fishing charters are available at the unit, and further information may be obtained from the Bellarine Tourist Information Centre which is located in Hesse Street, just a short distance from the unit.

Golf


Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale have golf courses and contact information is available at the unit. The Bellarine Peninsula has other golf courses and details may be obtained from the local Information Centre which is located in Hesse Street (a short walk from the unit).

Museums and Galleries

A short walk from the unit in Hesse Street are The Salt and Seaview Galleries where wonderful art works are on display and great exhibitions are held frequently. The local Uniting Church has a popular annual art exhibition and some of the artists are in attendance to give demonstrations or be available to discuss their art.

The Bellarine Peninsula has many popular wineries and tours can be arranged in Queenscliff. Brochures are available at the unit and also at the local Information Centre (which is a short walk from the unit).
