If you just want to laze around this is the perfect place. Views of ocean from upstairs. Just stroll across a quiet street, along an easement between two houses and the ocean is right there! Complete with surf beach for swimming (which is patrolled at Christmas and Easter)and an estuary/inlet perfect for the little ones and the older ones who don't like the surf.
The townhouse is completely child and pet friendly. Pets on tiled areas only please. Child locks on most cupboards to avoid breakages and a gate is supplied to block off the stairs to little ones.
Great deck directly off the lounge room, with lovely outdoor setting and umbrella, it's like an extra room. Another outdoor undercover/waterproof area is found off the dining room complete with electric BBQ. For those covered in sand from the beach utilise the outdoor shower before going inside!
For those that don't like the stairs there is a separate toilet downstairs.
Just a five to seven minute walk gets you to the local shops, tennis courts for hire, a large oval to kick the footy around or play cricket and a children's playground.
Pottsville has a Bowls Club and local hotel for a night out or if you just want takeways there are several to choose from.
There is great fishing to be had off the rock wall or Black Rocks which is about a five minute walk over the sand dunes.
The nearest major shopping centre is at Tweed Heads a 20 minute drive north. Drive 20 minutes south and find yourself in delightful Byron Bay.
