Holiday house

Situated on a large corner allotment, this 1930's home exudes distinctive character and has been fully furnished in keeping with the era. Located in North Portland within walking distance to the beach and CBD, this two-bedroom property includes quality furnishings and unique décor. Queen bed, Double bed and rollaway. A large enclosed backyard allows for easy vehicle parking, children’s play area or outdoor entertaining. (Enough room for a boat). Perfect accommodation for a couple’s getaway or corporate stays.

A great spot to base your stay. It's close to the beach where you can watch out for whales and dolphins who regularly visit our waters. Ride on the fully restored 19th Century Cable Tram. Enjoy our glistening deep sea port with local fishing fleet and daily International shipping movements.

Portland is studded with historic landscapes which reflect its heritage as Victoria's birthplace. Many of its 200 historical buildings from the 1800's are now fine places to dine where visitors can enjoy the special ambience and the freshest seafood (only a short drive or easy walk from WADE INN PORTLAND).

Whilst locals may want to keep it quiet, Portland has some of the best surf this side of Bells Beach. The choice spots are Watertower, Blacknose, Crumpets, Yellow Rock and Murrells.

And for those who like dropping in a line, Portland is an anglers paradise. From a boat or the beach, the range of fish that can be hooked is extensive, including King George whiting, flathead, snapper, tuna and mulloway.
