Holiday house

Louisianna's is two bedroom with a Queen bed in one room and two singles in the other. There are electric blankets on all beds and heaters in both bedrooms. All linen is included in price. The lounge room is large and has TV, DVD player, Stereo, portable radio/DVD and main dining area. There is a sunroom with laundry facilities and upright freezer. All rooms are very neat and tidy. There is a cafe setting on the front verandah with views over the park and the backyard is private and quite big for entertaining, kids play area or pets. Pets are ok but owners must ensure that they are not inside (except for sunroom) and the sunroon is left clean of pet hair and yards are left clean also. The garden is a mix of native and non native species and add to the overall charm of the property. The property is non smoking inside and smoking outside only. There is a BBQ available (for a fee) and outdoor setting in back yard. Glenelg St. is a quite street even though it is located in the heart of town!

Locality

The convenience of being able to walk around the corner to the heritage listed Macs Hotel and the famous Bentinck St. cafe strip make it a great place to walk to and from home after a relaxing meal near the beach. The activities, sites and facilities which are all within a stones throw will impress all ages. The Powerhouse Car and Engine Museum is just 2min walk away, Portland Cable Tram is 3 min walk away, the indoor heated pool is 4 min walk away, the library, supermarket, laudromat, car wash and recreational BBQ facilities areas are all just within 5 minutes (or less!) walk away. You really won't beleive how wonderfully central you are and yet in a private and quite street with plenty of open space around you.

Property

The house is ideal for a family, friends or couples looking for budget accomodation which is clean, friendly and well appointed. Louisianna's is a pleasant and friendly place to stay and has a homely feel about it. The house is well laid out with plenty of space in the bedrooms and a lovely warm sunroom out the back.

If you are bringing a boat there is ample parking on the road verge (for car/s) and the driveway is 9m long and 3m wide.
