The Port Douglas Lodge is a completely private, stand-alone, Port Douglas hideaway architecturally designed and constructed in the traditional Queenslander style. One of the few self catering holiday houses with private pool in the heart of Port Douglas.

Holiday house

Two enormous bedrooms, both with a king bed that can be converted to two king single beds, are separated by a large comfortable lounge/dining area. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite.

The luxury of The Lodge is embodied in the quality of the furnishings and fittings which include Widescreen 106cm Plasma TV, DVD and stereo, a full gourmet kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave and stainless steel appliances), and a private laundry with washing machine and dryer.

As a guest of the Port Douglas Lodge you will have exclusive use of your own heated pool, sundeck and gas BBQ, all set in lush tropical gardens and perfect for outdoor dining under the stars on the balmy tropical evenings.

All bed linens, towels and beach towels are provided. The Lodge also features ceiling fans, fully air-conditioned, hair dryers, free local phone calls and a dedicated wireless connection.

Children are welcome and free cot or rollaway bed is available if required.

Locality

An hours travel north of Cairns International Airport, Port Douglas Lodge nestles in the heart of Port Douglas Village.

The Cottage and Lodge are located across the street from the Port Douglas Post Office, three minutes walk to beautiful Four Mile Beach and just fifty metres to the shops, street cafes, boutiques, bars and restaurants of Macrossan Street, the main street.

Marina Mirage, the departure point for most of the trips to the Great Barrier Reef and home of even more shops and restaurants, is a short three minute stroll. Everything is an easy walking distance, no need to hire a car unless you plan to tour the surrounding areas of our beautiful region. On request, we can organise airport transfers.
