There are 3 bedrooms, one queen, a second queen (with optional single) and twin singles (with optional single trundle)

Rates start from $165 per night for up to 4 people

Each additional person will incur a $25 per head charge per night.

PLEASE READ BEDDING OPTIONS AND CHARGES CAREFULLY

Each bedroom will be deemed to be occupied by 2 persons and be charged accordingly.

The twin bedroom will always be deemed to be occupied by 2 persons at least and charged accordingly.

Each extra bed used etc. single in the queen bedroom, or trundle in the twin single bedroom will be charged at $25.00 extra per bed per night.

EXAMPLE

* A booking for 4 people provides access to 2 bedrooms only per night.
* Requiring access to a 3rd bedroom will be charged at $50.00 (2 persons) per night.
* Access to the trundle bed (in the twin single room) and the single (in queen room) will be charged at $25.00 per bed per night.

NOTE Bedding will only be provided for nominated bedding options.

You will be allocated your own personal 5 number access code for the period of the booking. This will be emailed to your address with details and confirmation of your booking.

You will only be able to access the property from 2 pm on checking in on your day of arrival and check out is 10 am on the day of departure.

BAY RETREAT is NON SMOKING and NO pets are allowed, except for Guide Dogs.

It is a fully self contained retreat catering for couples and families. You only need to pack your clothes and food, everything else is provided

"We stayed with 3 adults and 1 child for a very enjoyable night stay for a reasonable price based on 4 people. The house is newly listed and is wonderfully clean and inviting. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms. We enjoyed use of the BBQ and well contained kitchen. The house is situated on the foreshore, being a short walk from a protected beach and a 5 min drive to Port Arthur historic site. We highly recommend this place to families and couples alike!"

We thoroughly enjoyed Bay Retreat and are planning a return visit in the warmer weather as a base to visit Port Arthur and other places on the peninsular. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys comfortable, quality accommodation.

We stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer. There were 6 adults and there was plenty of room and comfort. The views were fantastic and we were only minutes away from Port Arthur. It was easy to book and easy to stay.

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young children) stayed at Bay Retreat in March this year for 2 night. We had a fantastic stay and were really impressed with the accommodation, wish we would have been able to stay a few more days. Lovely clean house with all the facilities you could want, this was the best accommodation we stayed in during our 2 week trip. Only minutes from the Port Arthur Historic site and close to the Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park at Taranna, the location was ideal to explore this lovely area. I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

The four of us stayed at Bay Retreat in February for 2 nights. It was a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Only a few minutes from Port Arthur which meant we could stay there all day. If you turn left at the end of the drive and follow the road to the end there are magnificent sea views. The accommodation was great everything you need for self catering including a big barbeque.
