Pets are welcome at Valley View Cottage. A pet fee of $25 applies to a pet staying. There is perimeter farm fencing on the property only so pets must be managed but can enjoy the space and freedom with their owners. Additionally wildlife in the area also utilse the grounds of Valley View and we want to minimise any disturbance to them.

Cottage, Holiday house

Valley View has 4 bedrooms - one queen, 2 doubles, and the fourth bedroom has 2 singles. Rooms are made ready for your arrival with linen and towels supplied.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry and is an excellent place for entertaining.

Valley View is situated on a hill with some of the best views in the Valley. We have a hill top gazebo in which you can enjoy your coffee or the wonderful sunsets with your favourite wine. There is an outdoor fireplace off the gezebo in a walled courtyard.

The house is comfortable and attractively furnished. There is a log combustion fireplace for winter evenings and ceiling fans ands air conditioning for summer comfort. There are additional outdoor dining patios with views, one with a gas bbq another with a Weber bbq.

Gardens surround the house. Eastern Grey kangaroos, and Wedgetail eagles are in the vacinity - a definate feature!

Valley View Cottage is in the northern part of Pokolbin close to the Vintage Golf course. There are no other businesses or accommodation on the property to ensure your peace and privacy - and this is somewhat unique in the Valley.

We will consider family pets accommpanying your visit so please discuss this further with us. A modest pet fee applies.

Just letting you know how wonderful Valley View Cottage was during our stay at Hunter Valley.
You really do have the best view in the Hunter Valley. We couldn't believe how much space we had to ourselves. The fireplace inside the house was fantastic and the gazebo allowed us to drink wine and nibble on cheese under the stars.
We were equipped with everything that we needed to make our stay pleasurable and comfortable. Again, I thank you for your hospitality and assistance before and during our stay. Mark

There are numerous galleries in the Hunter Valley and sculpture venues, and a glass blower. There are some organised art classes also. Guests have spent time drawing or taking photographs of the Valley from the gazebo at Valley View.
