'Westhorpe Manor' is a luxury house set on The Vintage amidst Hunter Valley wineries.

The spacious open-plan living/dining/gourmet kitchen has all modern amenities including gas-operated log fireplace, TV, Austar, DVD/CD, lounge sofas, dining furniture, study desk, and superior kitchen appliances to make your stay comfortable.

The verandas which overlook the golf course are equipped with a gas barbeque, outdoor dining tables & chairs and ducted speaker system.

You can just saunter up to The Vintage clubhouse for a round of golf, a game of tennis, a workout at the gym or a swim. The award-winning Legends Grill Restaurant offers superb meals at very reasonable prices and there are numerous events and activities that are organized all-year-round including the Growers' Markets, open-air cinemas, concerts and special luncheons/dinners which are often open to non-members too.

MORNING: Wake up to the magical views of the championship golf course and the distant Brokenback ranges; be surprised by the mist and the breathtaking sunrise, the spectacular daily migration of the kangaroos and the hot-air balloons that loft from nowhere...
If you are a golfer, perhaps an early game of golf at Greg Norman designed championship course?

DAY: Explore the nearby wineries and local producers of cheese, olives & jam; drive along the scenic countryside; stop off at a quaint café or an antique shop; or take in a concert at one of the many wineries when available.

EVENING: Watch the spectacular colours of the sunset; enjoy the best time of the day at the fireplace or on the veranda overlooking the golf course with your favourite drop; cook up a storm in the gourmet kitchen or indulge in fine food at a nearby restaurant; gaze the multitude of stars in the evening sky; sleep soundly having had a great day...

My only regret was that we had such a full weekend planned for the Hunter Valley we didn't get to spend nearly enough time at Westhorpe Manor! It's location right on the golf course ensured tranquility, it was well situated within the winery area, and the access to the estate facilities was a bonus. Can't wait to go back!"
