While most properties boast being near vineyards in the Hunter, the Hunter Valley Cooperage B&B actually sits plum in the middle of a working 90 acre estate planted with Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz vines and olives. As part of the Kelman Vineyards estate, guests may access the cellar door, a golf driving range, a bocce court and three tennis courts (2 being real grass).
But that's not the only impressive thing about the five star Cooperage - we love its architecturally stunning design incorporating high glass walls, cathedral ceilings, and inviting, open spaces. Gay & Warren's modern fitout, with purple and orange suede furnishings and splashes of bold colour, suit the style perfectly. And, for a real treat, there is a dedicated movie theatre.

Choose from 3 vineyard rooms, (decorated in vivid colours) Shiraz, Semillon and Chardonney. All opening out onto a wide deck overlooking shiraz vines down to the lake. Facing north the aspect is perfect for soaking up the vineyard views. With king beds that can be split into singles and porcelain tiled ensuites.
There is also a fully self contained 12m x 6m studio apartment with 2 queen beds, bathroom, lounge, dining and Miele kitchen. Plantation shutters seperate the beds for privacy.
