OUR LOCATION: Blackwattle Luxury Retreats is situated right in Hunter Valley Wine Country. There are just two exclusive cottages on 28 peaceful acres looking out over vineyards, rolling hills and the stunning Brokenback Ranges. Blackwattle is perfect for people looking for high quality accommodation set in a boutique vineyard, making the most of the real Hunter Valley wine experience. Close to some of the Hunter's best restaurants and just minutes to all the famous cellar doors.

ACCOMMODATION: Two options to suit the different requirements of our guests, catering for both COUPLES and SMALL GROUPS.

STYLE: High standards in furnishings and finishes, with luxury ensuite bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens and fabulous outdoor living areas. The retreats are designed to integrate with the surrounding natural landscape, and to maximise the stunning views across the valley to the Brokenback Ranges.

The retreats feature contemporary interiors. Stylish rooms with gorgeous bathrooms and designer fittings. Beautiful hand printed textiles from Australian designers. Modern Australian, yet reflecting the rural setting.

Our tariff includes:
Luxury cottage accommodation, each with their own private contemporary bathroom, luxury linen, fluffy quality bath towels, L'Occitane bathroom products. Fabulous breakfast package available with Lovedale Smokehouse bacon, free range eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, juice, yoghurt, fruit, milk, selection of gourmet muesli, cereal, bread, plunger coffee and speciality teas.

ONE BEDROOM luxury retreat for couples only, with huge gorgeous bathroom, real wood fire, separate bedroom, open living area and private deck overlooking stunning mountain views.

TWO BEDROOM luxury retreat for 4 people. Designed to maximise private sleeping and ensuite areas for each couple, with fabulous large living area, real wood fire, leather lounges, ipod dock, and huge entertaining deck overlooking the vineyard and stunning views.

Locality

Lovedale is one of the five main wine regions of the Hunter Valley. It is the home of the famous "Lovedale Long Lunch" and now the "Taste of Lovedale" the area is renowned for exclusive boutique accommodation. The community of Lovedale has a reputation for friendly, exceptional service and the area boasts some of the most beautiful views in the Valley.
Lovedale is known as "The Heart of the Hunter"

Property

Blackwattle is situated on a ridge overlooking numerous vineyards and looking out towards the Brokenback and Watagan ranges. Sunsets can be spectacular. The property itself has a boutique vineyard growing verdelho and shiraz grapes, as well as a 100 tree olive grove. Guests are welcome to walk amongst the vines and to stroll around the property with its two dams, beautiful old eucalypts and gently sloping grasslands.
