"We had only been there for 30 minutes and we knew we'd have to come back. 'Cables' is a beautiful home on a beautiful beach. Being at the 'Bottom End" of the Yorke Peninsula there is a rich variety of activities for the whole family- from rock pool wading to visiting the National Parks, historic sites and surf fishing. Our family of eight was comfortable and there was a good balance of 'mod-cons' without robbing us of the 'beach shack' feel.
We were made very welcome. The local general store people know how to make tourists enjoy the stay.
The location was safe enough for us to feel confident that our youngest (aged seven) could wander down onto the beach alone and our elder ones could be in the house alone.
The support from the owners, before, during and after was fantastic. Gary really wanted us to have a great time."
