All of our guest rooms have been purpose architected, elegantly decorated and furnished with guest comfort in mind. They have private en-suite facilities, individual climate control heating/cooling air conditioning, refrigerator, tea/coffee facilities, iron/ironing board & hair-dryer. A hotel-style personal combination safe is provided in all rooms for peace of mind to secure your valuables.

Anderson Heritage Suite Cottage

Originally part of the heritage house, this King Suite Cottage offers very grand old-world heritage charm with elegant period furnishings and and genuine Persian rugs.

Luxuriate in a king-size mahogany four-poster bed; sit in front of the log fire and enjoy the HD LCD TV + DVD surround-sound system; or curl up with your favourite book.

The spacious en-suite features a large corner spa and finest quality bathroom linens.

In the main room, there are comfy day-chairs to snuggle-up in front of the log-fire or to watch a movie.

Outside the door is a private veranda & of course the beautiful gardens to enjoy.

The pristine beach is 100 meters from the gate, for a swim or perhaps a stroll along the water’s edge.

Two resident professional chefs at Glen Isla are passionate about food and wine!

Legendary Glen Isla breakfasts are mentioned extensively in the guest comment book, and our chefs use the best available local and regional ingredients.

Glen Isla has a purpose-built private cellar with an extensive range of wines to choose from dating back to 1958! Ian can recommend a wine to suit your taste and your budget.

We can recommend two very fine restaurants nearby and we have their menus on hand.

In winter enjoy the log fie in the drawing room for guests! (now with 42" plasma satellite TV)

The established heritage gardens dating back to 1870 at Glen Isla include three 100+ year-old oak trees, original in-ground water wells and five grand Norfolk pines, which form the original driveway entrance to the heritage house. The gardens are extensive, totally private from the street, secluded and available for resident guests to relax in and enjoy.

The Anderson Heritage Suite offers a king-size mahoganny four poster bed & accommodates up to 2 adults (private ensuite with spa + log fire). This historic heritage cottage is separate from all other guests accommodations & is totally private.

Five Glen Isla classic rooms have queen-size beds, one Glen Isla room offers twin single beds (all private ensuite with shower).

Glen Isla rooms are located in the purpose architected guests wing. All have separate entrances onto the deck veranda overlooking the heritage gardens.

The Gate Cottage (luxury self-cater cottage) offers two bedrooms One bedroom with queen-size bed & the second bedroom has twin single beds. These bedrooms are upstairs & share a large country-style bathroom. The Gate Cottage accommodates up to 4 adults & is set under two 100 year-old oak trees.

We do not have roll-away or folding beds. All our bedrooms have been architected to accommodate two adults.

Our accommodations are not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
