Set in the very private heritage gardens of the historic Glen Isla (circa 1870), a multi-award wining small luxury hotel style country house retreat offering discerning guests old-world charm and refined elegance, the very finest surroundings in a secluded garden of 2 acres with a beach-side location on Phillip Island.

Adjacent to a pristine sandy beach (100 meters to the water - direct access), Glen Isla is close to the Phillip Island Nature Park (Penguins and Koalas), and other nature attractions, swimming & surf beaches, Phillip Island Winery, native animal parks and the International Grand Prix Circuit. Just a short walk away is the seaside village of Cowes with shops and restaurants.

Fine Food Experience: With a restaurant-style dining room overlooking the spectacular heritage gardens and resident chef, linger over a special breakfast crafted from fresh local ingredients and served at your own table.

All of our guest rooms have been purpose architected, elegantly decorated and furnished in classic style with guest comfort in mind. They have private en-suite facilities, individual climate control heating/cooling air conditioning, refrigerator, tea/coffee facilities, iron/ironing board & hair-dryer. A hotel-style personal combination safe is provided in all rooms for peace of mind to secure your valuables.

Glen Isla 'classic' rooms have in addition to their private en-suite, 48cm widescreen LCD TV/DVD, spacious "walk-in" dressing/luggage room with wide luggage rack and generous apparel hanging space. With separate entrances, Glen Isla Classic rooms enjoy unlimited vistas of the extensive heritage gardens (c1870) from their veranda. Each room has been individually decorated by a leading Melbourne interior designer. No Clutter - just elegant classical furnishings!

Anderson Heritage Suite Cottage
Originally part of the heritage house, this King Suite Cottage offers very grand old-world heritage charm with elegant period furnishings and and genuine Persian rugs.

Luxuriate in a king-size mahogany four-poster bed; sit in front of the log fire and enjoy the HD LCD TV + DVD surround-sound system; or curl up with your favourite book.

The spacious en-suite features a large corner spa and finest quality bathroom linens.

In the main room, there are comfy day-chairs to snuggle-up in front of the log-fire or to relax with a book.

Outside the door is a private veranda & of course the beautiful gardens to enjoy.

The pristine beach is 100 meters direct access from the gate, for a swim or perhaps a stroll along the water’s edge.

Fine Food

Legendary Glen Isla chef-inspired special breakfasts in the dining room are mentioned extensively in the guest comment book, and we use the best available local and regional ingredients.

We can recommend very fine restaurants nearby and we have their menus on hand.

In winter enjoy the log fie in the drawing room for guests!

The established heritage gardens dating back to 1870 at Glen Isla include three 100+ year-old oak trees, original in-ground water wells and five grand Norfolk pines, which form the original driveway entrance to the property. The gardens are extensive, totally private from the street, secluded and available for resident guests to relax in and enjoy.
