"Peppercorn Cottage" is situated in the grounds of "Hillside Country Retreat" and has three bedrooms with 1 queen,2 double bedrooms continental quilts and electric blankets. All the linen is supplied and a porta cot is available on request.
It has a spacious living area with two sofa beds and a dining area opposite a fully equipped kitchen which includes a microwave. The living area opens onto a covered deck area with barbeque facilities which looks onto wonderful farmland and offers complete privacy.
A television, CD and DVD player are provided with in-house DVDs.
There is a large bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. A washing machine is also provided.
The cottage has a gas heater for the cooler months and evaporative cooling during the summer.
There is ample secure parking outside the cottage.
Pets are welcome to holiday with their owners.

Guests are welcome to wander around the extensive gardens and have access to the swimming pool and tennis court in the grounds.

In the winter months, stroll beside Bland Brook while it is in full spate or picnic along its banks.

Locality

Peppercorn Cottage is conveniently situated to provide a brisk ten minute walk to the main street of York.

York is the ideal base from which to explore the Avon Valley and surrounding towns. It is famous as a sky-diving centre while the neigbouring town of Beverley boasts a gliding facility and Northam is internationally known for its hot-air ballooning. For those prefering a more restful time, there is local history aplenty at the Residency Museum in York and a fascinating museum in Cunderdin.

Local, handcrafted furniture and artifacts are on display in a nearby converted flour mill and impeccable vintage cars may be viewed at the long established Vintage Car Museum.

A fascinating, insightful stopover if travelling to view Wave Rock in Hyden or en route to the seaside cities of Albany and Esperance.

Dogs do not have to be on a leash, but owners must be aware that it is there full responsility to ensure that their pet does not wander as we are on 400 acres of farmland.
Pets must be social as we ave 4 jack russels'. And there maybe other pets on the property.
