Architecturally designed, SeaShells Penneshaw is situated on the third level of the town's historic beach homes precinct with panoramic views over the white sand beach of Hog Bay across Backstairs passage to the rugged coastline of the mainland.
With the ocean at the front and the Karatta Conservation Park at the back, guests enjoy relaxed, contemporary seaside accommodation, all within easy walking distance of the town centre, golf course, playground and community oval.
Hog Bay's beach is a short walk away and is a favourite with visitors and locals alike, especially at dusk when little penguins come ashore nightly to roost in their rookery. (Special tours are available nightly).
SeaShells Penneshaw accommodates up to 8 guests. From the airy open plan living area, bi-fold doors open onto a large furnished deck giving maximum space for entertaining or just kicking back, enjoying the summer breeze and wonderful sunrisies.
The gateway to Kangaroo Island, Penneshaw is ideally located for guests to take advantage of the many island tours available. Pick up from SeaShells Penneshaw by the tour operator can also be arranged.

When you drive off of the ferry the passenger pick up station is on your right, continue up the hill, turn left at the first street, Nat Thomas, and left again, you will now be facing the ocean, continue down this road and turn right at the intersection, follow the beach road until you reach a white dome which is Frenchman's Rock, turn right at this point and continue coming around almost doing a U turn up the hill, turn left onto Investigator Tce, this will take you up to the third level, Karatta Tce, we are at the other end of the street with a sign out the front, drive up the driveway and park under the carport. BlueSeas portion of the Holiday House accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. First bedroom is a queen bed, second bedroom is a double bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. An open planned living, dining and kitchen opens onto an external deck. A well equipped Laundry is provided plus a Bathroom (vanity, bath and shower) and a separate toilet.
When 7 or 8 guests are accommodated internal access is provided to the GreenSeas portion of the Holiday House which provides an additional queen bedroom, second bathroom (vanity, shower & toilet) plus a utility area and sitting room.
Highchair, cot including linen & change table are available.
Linen includes doonas, sheets, pillows, pillow cases, tea towels, bath towels, hand towels & bath mats.
Tea, coffee provisions. Body wash & hand gel provided in bathrooms/kitchen.
