Holiday house

Architecturally designed, SeaShells Penneshaw is situated on the third level of the town's historic beach homes precinct with panoramic views over the white sand beach of Hog Bay across Backstairs passage to the mainland.

With the ocean at the front and the Karatta Conservation Park at the back, guests enjoy relaxed, contemporary seaside accommodation, all within easy walking distance of the town centre, golf course, playground and community oval.

Hog Bay's beach is a short walk away and is a favourite with visitors and locals alike, especially at dusk when little penguins come ashore nightly to roost in their rookery. (Special tours are available nightly).

SeaShells Penneshaw accommodates up to 8 guests. From the airy open plan living area, bi-fold doors open onto a large furnished deck giving maximum space for entertaining or just kicking back, enjoying the summer breeze and views at sun rise and sunset.

The owners/hosts, Ian & Raelene clean, maintain and manage the property.

The gateway to Kangaroo Island, Penneshaw is ideally located for guests to take advantage of the many island tours available. With prior arrangement, hosts Ian & Raelene will pick up/return guests to the ferry terminal if they are travelling without a vehicle.

When you drive off of the ferry the passenger pick up station is on your right, continue up the hill, turn left at the first street, Nat Thomas, and left again, you will now be facing the ocean, continue down this road and turn right at the intersection, follow the beach road until you reach a white dome which is Frenchman's Rock, turn right at this point and continue coming around almost doing a U turn up the hill, turn left onto Investigator Tce, this will take you up to the third level, Karatta Tce, we are at the other end of the street with a sign out the front, drive up the driveway and park under the carport. We will meet you, welcome you to SeaShells Penneshaw and hand over the key.
