"The house was amazing, all the comforts of home (including the coffee plunger!!) We caught many squid off the boat ramp rocks and the kids loved swimming in the safe calm beach. We had a pod of dolphins (4) within 10m of where we were fishing. After a day of travel, the 8 place dining room table provided ample room for the families to re cap on the days events, the lounge provided my parents a comfortable retreat (and re lived old times with the provided music videos from the 50's and 60's!!), the outside deck was where the coffee was served to watch the sun set, and those comfortable beds were bliss after a full day of trecking! So much room!! Everything was so clean and modern with ample storage for our own clothes and food. The reverse cycle split system made the cool evenings very comfortable and the dishwasher meant we were able to spend more time with each other after tea playing pool. If anyone is after a home away from home to share with multiple families.. King George retreat is the place to stay! All the extras, such as torches (spare batteries), clothes airer, iron and ironing board (which we used even though we were on holidays!!) insect repelant, fly spray, washing powder, spray n wipe, cook books, spare (beautiful) blankets... the list goes on!! The area was so peacefull, the only sounds to be heard were the sounds of laughter coming from within the house! I am looking forward to our next holiday on the island, staying at King George retreat!! 10/10 - Family Roesler and both Family Sanders."
