"Currawong" is just 2 minutes from the ferry terminal which makes it an ideal base for your island experience.
It is a wonderful place for honeymooners, romantic retreats, family holidays, group get-togethers and more.
There are spectacular views from all rooms which have expansive viewing areas. Large sheltered patio overlooking the sea is great for BBQs after a day's touring. Then stroll down to the beach for a penguin encounter and meet the Tamar wallabies along the way .

Features include 4 spacious bedrooms - Main bedroom has a queen size bed and a sofa bed, bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, bedroom 3 has a doube bed and bedroom 4 (downstairs) has a queen size bed and 2 single beds. The second bathroom is located downstairs.

Currawong has a very large open plan living area,modern well equipped kitchen with walk-in pantry, gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven and separate chest freezer for catch & bait. Port-a-cot & highchair available.
Living area has reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan, large HD digital TV, Blue-ray DVD player, CD player and cordless telephone with dial-up internet connection available. Cosy slow combustion wood heater for winter holidays.

Very large main bathroom with spa bath, separate shower and third toilet. Second bathroom downstairs has shower, toilet & basin. Laundry includes washing machine, trough, dryer, iron & ironing board.
The elevated patio has a deck setting for outdoor dining and a hooded gas BBQ. The house also features a fish cleaning table, an attractive native bush garden with bird bath.
Secure undercover parking for a car and boat trailer.
The house is disabled friendly with wheelchair access, shower chair, shower & toilet rails, wide entrances.
A safe swimming beach and conservation park with abundant wildlife are within easy walking distance.
Also close to supermarket, restaurants, wine cellar, cafe, art galleries, museum, service station, post office and charming country style pub.

Locality

Currawong is 2 minutes drive to Sealink Ferry terminal along the bay.
It is in a secluded location on the eastern side of Penneshaw, close to the Baudin Conservation Park.
The house is set high to take advantage of the wonderful sea and bushland views.
It is a short drive to Christmas Cove boat ramp.
A family safe swimming beach is nearby.

Property

The house is architect designed, of solid brick construction with extra high ceilings and very wide verandahs.
It features 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & 3 toilets.

Main bedrooms has a queen size bed and a sofa bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, 3rd bedroom has a double bed, and 4th bedroom downstairs has a queen size bed & 2 single beds. The second bathroom is also located downstairs.

The large main bathroom features a spa bath, separate shower & 3rd toilet.

The main living area is very spacious with easy access to the wide sheltered covered deck overlooking beautiful landscaped grounds with the sea in the background. From here there is a wonderful view of the charming township & ferry terminal especially when lit-up at night.

There is a covered two-car carport.

The elevated position of the house takes full advantage of the sea views, the ferry coming & going, and the charming town & jetty.

Guests will enjoy views of dolphins, the occasional whale, yachts and fishing boats and of course a cool fresh dip in the pristine sea.
