Cottage, Farm stays, Self-contained apartment, Walking Tours

Glenbrook House is located just a 30 minute drive from the Devonport ferry terminal, within the tranquil setting of Penguin Valley. The self-contained miners' cottage is dated 1903 and although it has been updated, it still retains its historic beginnings. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful natural forest and historic tree ferns with a hazelnut orchard and a trout creek, which meanders through the property. Breakfast provisions are included with home-made fresh bread. Complimentary home-made cake, muffins or scones on arrival.

Locality

Glenbrook Cottage is located 3km south of picturesque seaside town of Penguin. Central to North West coast tourist attractions - Cradle Mountain, Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains Caves and Vineyards, Stanley (the Nut), fairy penguins, Don & Penguin markets, Sheffield (murals), gardens, bush walks, chocolate and cheese factories.

Property

Glenbrook Cottage is an historic miners' cottage circa 1903, which is nestled in the Penguin valley amongst 50 acres of woodland, with a hazelnut plantation and a trout creek. The cottage is central to local amenities, with the town of Penguin and the beach only 3kms away. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, with a separate lounge, dining room and a well appointed kitchen. All linen and towels are supplied. Continental breakfast provisions are supplied with delicious home-made bread. Complimentary home-made cakes, muffins or scones on arrival to welcome you to our retreat. An undercover BBQ is provided with sweeping views of the natural forest from the verandah.

If you prefer to stay at Glenbrook on a B&B basis, we have a large, bay-windowed guest room situated in the Main House. The room has a queen bed, a single bed, wall-mounted LCD TV and en-suite with shower.
