"There were just too many highlights, but one was our kids loved getting up in the morning and feeding all the farm animals and getting to help the farmer, and for us grown ups the beauty of the whole stay and how gorgeous the views were from our kitchen window!"

"The owner is particularly friendly and conscious of children. He stopped in to chat while delivering fresh kindling for that night's fire - really nice.
Despite the cold weather, the chalets are so well insulated that we were very warm all night.
Well kept grounds, playgroudn and tennis court meant the kids were entertained whenever we adults needed a break."

"The owner was wonderful, I loved the attention he paid to each child during the animal feedings, he made sure that no one, not even the smallest child was left out. The range of farm animals was great as well, they even had a turtle!!! The view from the accomodation was breathtaking and the cottages cozy and well maintained. I was very pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the quailty of the experience was given the accomodation was significantly cheaper than other similar properties we looked at. Many thanks for a great long weekend :)"

"The grandchildren enjoyed all aspects of our stay.Up early for the feeding of the animals,the weather was good so the swimming pool had plenty of use.Able to walk through the forest to the Gloucester tree and Pemberton was within walking distance.Very enjoyable."

"The four bedroom house was superbly positioned looking out to the forest of trees with their birds chirping for us to hear. We had privacy away from the other houses and enjoyed the use of the bbq on the patio. Inside the wood heater, supplied with wood and fire lighters as well as the spa were very much enjoyed. We had with us some intellectually disabled persons and the setting for them was very usable and the farm animals were a great hit."

"We had 4 wonderful nights in a 6 berth chalet. The chalet was spotless, and contained everything necessary for a great stay. We had a four and half year old with us who thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals and using the trampoline etc. The pool and tennis court were great, although we didn't get the opportunity to use these as the weather was a little chilly. Rod Morris and his family are friendly and helpful, thankyou for a wonderful stay. We look forward to a return visit."

"Nice cosy cottage with really beautiful views from the kitchen windows. The fireplace added a nice feel to the cottage. Less than 5 mins from Town; bought all the food from the IGA and had two wonderful BBQ dinners infront of the cottage.
Rod and Nugget were great hosts. Nugget is the big black dog and very friendly.
Great for kids."

"The large chalet was spacious, comfortable and had good facilities. The small chalet was also good and comfortable but the room with the bunk beds seemed a little cramped with not enough room for stowing clothes away.
We took note and appreciated little things like having our fire wood replenished and having kindling and paper to light the fire. The location is fantastic with the beautiful views over the paddocks. Everyone enjoyed the tennis facilities, the pool would have been great in summer. The kids loved the trampoline and play-ground and the animals.
The overall experience was great and everyone enjoyed the open verandras, bbq facilities and fresh country air. We definitely recommend the farm chalets to anyone who wants to have a relaxing, fun and enjoyable holiday!"

"Thanks for a wonderful, affordable break away. Since our stay we have recommended the 'Pemberton Farm Chalets' to everyone, particularly those with young kids. Our two- year old loved the morning farm animal visits and the freedom to run around on the grassed areas just outside the chalets. We enjoyed relaxing in the clean, modern, very affordable accommodation. We enjoyed a glass or two of the local wines while taking in the peaceful farm views and meeting other families with kids of a similar age. We have already booked to return next year!"

"We loved the Farm Chalet, the scenery was spectacular and it was very relaxing. My only suggestion is that the cheap cane lounge suite was uncomfortable and impossible to sit in. We ended up with a matress on the floor as the lounge was too uncomfortable and we just wanted to relax infront of the tv for a while. Kids loved the animals and had a great time playing with the other kids staying there."
