Foragers is a unique culinary travel experience in the south west of Western Australia with a farm-based cooking school, restaurant and self-contained accommodation located in the Southern Forests region, 6km south of Pemberton.

Unwind in the peaceful forest environment of Pemberton in our self-contained timber cottages & Luxury Eco Chalets, set amongst beautiful gardens on our sloping 19 acre farm with views to the Brockman State Forest.

Conveniently located 5 km from Pemberton, we are bordered on three sides by Karri forest and a two kilometre walk to the beautiful Cascades. We are also positioned on the Karri Forest Explorer Drive; a self-drive tour which takes you through majestic Karri forests, past farmlands and near peaceful waterways. Alternatively, we have a short walk through the forest that surrounds us or you can relax to the sound of birdsong in your cottages.

Our well-equipped cottages include open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, toilet/bathroom, TV/DVD/CD, slow combustion log fires, full gas stove, microwave oven, fridge and gas barbeque.

Many travellers agree that one of the best ways to experience a new destination is through food. We can provide you with a range of options to cater for your meals with our unique Seasonal Dinner Events, Cooking Classes & Gourmet Provisions offering you the best and most tasteful eating experience in Pemberton.

Tariffs include all linen, complimentary soaps, coffee & tea. Porta-cots and a high chair are available on request.

Locality

Pemberton is a diverse and unique tourism destination, rich in history and culture, offering magnificent old-growth forest, peaceful waterways and nearby rugged coastline, highly awarded cool-climate wines, delicious fresh produce and talented local artisans.

Being centrally located within the south west of WA, day trips beyond to nearby Margaret River, Denmark & Albany or Balingup & Nannup are also a wonderful way to extend your time in Pemberton.

Property

Established in 1950 by Italian migrants, our 19-acre farm has grown potatoes, buckwheat and beef cattle. Currently, we tend a large vegetable garden, chickens, small fruit orchard and Wiltshire sheep.

Native garden beds and trees that attract a diverse range of native birds, the most spectacular being the Blue Splendid Fairy Wren, surround our timber cottages. As the sun sets, kangaroos can often be seen from the cottages, either passing through or enjoying a grass-supper.

Situated on a ridge that gently slopes to the south and is protected on 3 sides by majestic Karri & Marri forest, our property offers a tranquil experience in a beautiful country setting.
