Nestled in a majestic Karri forest our accommodation provides an ideal base for exploring this magnificent region. Come and escape to the peace and tranquillity of the natural bush land, relax by the fire or sit on the deck taking in the clean fresh air and the sounds of seclusion.
We have accommodated to ensure your stay is comfortable, clean and most importantly relaxing.
Karri Lake Hideaway is the perfect romantic getaway for two, a fun packed holiday for the whole family or a chance to catch up with friends in the privacy of your own retreat.
We just wanted to say how lovely Quinninup was, we didn’t really want to leave to come back to the Suburbs. Everything was so nicely done in the Holiday Home it had everything in it. Better than any other holiday we’ve been at or stayed in.
Thank you so much for the wonderful holiday, and your home was awesome. Oh the couple of things to the backyard was also set up so nicely with the birds on the feeder etc, just to top things of. Seeing all the beautiful birds through the windows there was great
LocalityQuinninup is enveloped by picturesque dairy and sheep farms. Our accommodation is situated close to the freshwater Karri Lake which has a surface area of approximately 18 hectares and provides the Quinninup township with its water supply.
Enjoy walking the full circumference of the lake on the Orchid Walk (1.8kms), or walk through the ancient King Karri forest (4.2kms), or take the Ridge Back walk (5kms) where an abundance of bird life can be found and magnificent wildflowers in the spring time.
Karri Lake Hideaway is close to art and craft galleries, marron and trout farms, restaurants, wineries, the world famous giant Karri trees and Jarrah forests. An easy drive will bring you to beautiful swimming, snorkelling and surfing beaches near Windy Harbour, waterfalls, picnic and barbecue spots, whilst a day drive to the lower south coast will take you picturesque Broke Inlet, the breathtaking Mandalay Beach with its magnificent view of rugged coastline and long sandy stretch, to the award winning and amazing Valley of the Giants Tree Tops Walk near Walpole.
You might also find time to climb Mount Frankland or picnic and swim at Fernhook Falls along the way.
You will be able to visit the expansive Lake Muir and some famous wineries, among them Goundreys and Plantagenet, if you take a day drive along the Muir Highway through to Mount Barker.
