"We had a wonderful stay. Quiet and tranquil-loads of bird life. Very comfortable chalets, very clean and nicely presented. Attention to detail was great- magazines, DVDs, flowers. Comfy beds, wonderful wood burner to heat the chalet. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends."

"It was a great relaxing holiday. The chalets were well set out and you did not feel closed in. The chalets were set at a good distance and you had your own space and privacy, if required. It was great being able to pick some of the fruit (kiwi). Would recommend to others and will certainly come and visit again. Being met by the dogs was great."

"Our stay at 'Hawke Brook Chalets' was very enjoyable. The chalet was clean, cosy and equipped beyond expectation. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and has great attention for detail; little things that made us feel extra welcome- the potbelly was ready to fire away, the little cakes in the fridge, nice flowers in every room. The setting is gorgeous and we will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!!!"
