Locality

This multi award-winning retreat is located on the Vasse Highway 43km SW of Nannup and 34km NW of Pemberton. Well sign posted, and over the road from the Donnelly River winery, Donnelly Lakes is situated to allow for leisurely day trips to Margaret River or Walpole, and the fabulous Tree Top Walk.

Property

Donnelly Lakes is in one of the most beautiful parts of the south-west between Pemberton and Nannup. The 40 hectare property is surrounded by state forests and there is a kilometre of the Donnelly River on one border. The junction of the Barlee Brook is located midway along the border and this spot is renowned as one of the best water holes in the south-west for trout fishing. The main lake is 5 acres in size and interlocks with 3 other lakes on the property through a series of streams for 7 months of the year, ending in the bordering Donnelly River. Guests will appreciate the number of native animals, flora and birds on the properety. The 25 station self guided bush walk allows guests to explore this wondrous property. Already 80 varieties of birds have been identified on the property.
