Pemberton

Pemberton is simply paradise. Abundant water, birds and wildlife and the beautiful tall timber makes Pemberton a must stay destination for any traveller to WA.

There is so much to do in Pemberton that it suits all manner of visitors. For the active traveller there are walk trails, bike rides and adventure tours. For a more relaxing experience, there is the famous Pemberton Tram, the Donnelly River Cruise, wineries and cafe's, as well as many galleries.

In summer there is Big Brook Dam with its beach and bbq areas, wine and nibbles on the verandah or a visit to Salmon Beach. In winter there are log fires, sips of port and watching the rain in the forest, a very special treat.

Splendid Wren features

We pride ourselves on the fine quality of produce used in preparing our delicious meals.

The gourmet breakfast includes free range eggs and chicken sausages, locally grown tomatoes, as well as Manjimup truffles in the scrambled eggs (when available).

Evening meals are available and include poached Pemberton trout, the local delicacy Marron and lovely home made soups and desserts.

The two bed and breakfast rooms look out onto native gardens and karri/jarrah/marri forest. Birds are abundant most times of the year and it is only their gentle twittering which breaks the deep silence of the forest.

Our lovely dog Gomez the Black is here to greet you on arrival and make your stay just that little bit more fun, and energetic if you like rubbing dog tummies!

Set in the beautiful Pemberton tall timber, and powered by 4.76kW of solar panels, this accommodation prides itself on reducing both ours and our guests ecological footprint. All the gardens are maintained organically and all produce grown on the property is both organically grown and heritage varieties where possible. Water is supplied from rainwater tanks. All cleaning products are greywater friendly and all bin liners are degradable plastic. Manager/proprietor Tracy Leigh is an active member of The Greens WA and so is committed to living and working sustainably.
