Enjoy the tranquillity and quietness of this lovely, modern spacious home with views off to the east. Watch TV, play piano or just soak in the beautiful view. Dine in our traditionally furnished dining room, patio or secluded back garden.
Your Hosts Helen & Mal are involved in a cereal growing enterprise 30 minutes from Parkes and guests may visit when convenient.

Our stay was excellent. The room had a great view, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and accessories were luxurious. We enjoyed our dinner with the hosts. The food was delicious and their company was warm and hospitable. I would highly recommend Kadina and would happily stay again in the future.

Locality

Without any doubt, the major tourist attraction of Parkes is the famous Radio Telescope.

One of the world's most powerful telescopes, its primary role is in collecting, magnifying and analysing radio waves.

The visitors' centre has an audio-visual display, interactive elements, computer tours, a working model of the telescope, a hologram, a live connection with the control room computers, project material, souvenirs and posters. Open Weekend 18th & 19th July 09

In the town area, you can visit Garden Bower Art Studio, Craft Corner, henry parkes centre (VIC centre, Elvis Collection, Antique machinery and cars plus historical museum).

Parkes offers many and varied sporting facilities. The golfer is well catered for with a picturesque 18 hole grassed green course with watered fairways.
