Welcome to "Nana's Home" In 1880 this beautiful stone house was built and my great great grandfather, Richard Thomas Parnell soon made it home. The Parnell's were one of the pioneering families to reside and set-up business in Orroroo and we are still here today.
So why not step back in time into my Nana's Home and be enchanted by the history of my family and the town they loved so much, through the many photos and memorabile of those days gone by.

Fully furnished and self-contained Nana's Home can accommodate up to 8 people, with it's 3 Qeen-size bedrooms and 2 Singles beds, 2 bathrooms one as an ensuit.
The kitchen and dining area are complete with moderns facilities, yet still feturing the once used wood stove. The lounge is a great place to relax by the wood fire or enjoy a gas BBQ with family and freinds on the large lawns around the home.

Events

The Flinders Ranges are the place to visit when the weather is perfect and we have some events for you to enjoy while you are here.
Rhythms & Wool Bales a concert presented by Black Jack Get-A-Way in conjuction with Tastes of the Outback on April the 21st 2007. Feturing Australia most exciting young solo percussionist Nick Parnell. To start the day a station cooked lunch with country music entertainment on the lawns of the homestead at Glenroy Estate then venture to the Shearing Shed where the concert is held. Followed by afternoon smoko with a display of local art craft and quilting. Limited seats dont miss out.
