Welcome to "Magpies Nest" This cosy cottage overlooks the Pekina Creek home to majestic River Red Gums and plentiful bird life. It is an ideal place for that relaxing get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of normal life. In the mornings you will slowly wake to the magpies singing their morning song outside your window and then in the evenings, join them on the verhanda with a glass of wine to watch the sun set while they sing to you good night.

This cosy comfortable fully furnished and self contained cottage consists of 2 queen size beds and 2 singles, accommodating up to 6 peole. Magpies Nest has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Relaxing moments can be spent in the spasious lounge complete with wood fire and air conditioning. Outdoors the slate patio provides a lovely location for a BBQ.

Events

The Flinders Ranges are the place to visit when the weather is perfect and we have some events for you to enjoy while you are here.
Rhythms & Wool Bales a concert presented by Black Jack Get-A-Way in conjuction with Tastes of the Outback on April the 25th 2009. Feturing Australia most exciting young solo percussionist Nick Parnell. Enjoy an eveing of fine food wine and music from all over the worl. Evening meal showcases local Saltbush Flavoured Lamb with local wine. Limited seats dont miss out.
