Holiday house

Beach Lodge is a 4 bedroom house with every comfort necessary for a perfect holiday.
Sleeping 8-10, you can walk out the door, down the step & onto the beach. There is a games room with billiard table & table tennis and a fully enclosed back garden. There is also a Jacuzzi spa pool on the upstairs balcony.
The house is like a home away from home with lots of little extras such as champagne in the fridge to celebrate your arrival!
Garaging for one car and ground parking for 2-3 more.

Beach Lodge has been the perfect annual holiday for our family for the last 4 years. Summer holidays wouldn't be the same without a stay at Beach Lodge.

Locality

Ocean Beach, Umina is about 1 hour north of Hornsby and is a very long, white sandy surfing beach. You can visit the many attractions of the Central Coast, listed in our visitors compendium, or just laze on the beach at yourr doorstep. Ettalong Markets are just a short drive away and the ferry goes to Palm Beach every hour. Walk to trendy Pearl Beach or drive to Patonga for fish & chips.
There is a boat ramp at nearby Ettalong where canoes may also be rented and fishing is great.
Horse riding is available at a few localities not far away. The list of attractions goes on and on.

Property

Beach Lodge is a charming two-storey Cape Cod home set amongst Norfolk Pines with the best possible views on the Central Coast.
Weekend Bookings are available as well as mid-week breaks. Summer holiday bookings are advised 12 months ahead due to demand.

Suitable only for persons with limited mobility but not wheelchair users, Step or lip exists to the entry door, Step or lip exists to the shower, Shower has shower bars and a moveable shower head, Some stairs, described below, Toilet is big enough to fit a wheelchair.

Entry to the house from the car parking is reasonably level and a short distance. There are 3 steps up to the front door and an access railing can assist. The downstairs is level although there is a wide but tiny step down into the kitchen area. Bathroom does not have separate shower but bathtub is low and has a grip rail plus a moveable shower head.
Access within the house is easy and bedroom to bathroom also easy. Access to the beach is
level.

Pet friendly

Cats are permitted, Pets are permitted outside only, Secure, fully fenced running area.

We welcome pet friendly families as long as they follow a few simple rules and are responsible pet owners! We prefer pets stay outside but sometimes small animals do like to come inside. Please note that animals are not allowed on beds or furnishings. Before you leave, please make sure that any droppings or bones are picked up and disposed of correctly, and any holes dug are repaired. As long as pet owners take care of our property, then we will continue to welcome them with their pets to Beach Lodge.
