Cottage

Tumblegum Cottage is a charming cedar-clad cottage designed for comfort and relaxation. It occupies a high position with views across the O'Connell valley towards the Blue Mountains. Both the master bedroom and the living room have full-length windows to take advantage of this beautiful view. You'll wake up in the morning to kangaroos grazing just outside your window, and sunlight pouring into your country getaway. Make yourself comfortable on the wide timber deck with a good book and a cup of tea, breathe in the clear air and smell the scent of the gum trees, just metres away.
Inside, you'll find polished timber floors echoing the surrounding bush. On winter days, relax on comfortable lounges while the sun pours in. Experience the best of the country and the comfort of modern conveniences, with air-conditioning and heating, fully equipped kitchen, and electric blankets on every bed.
Have a private weekend away or come with friends, enjoying tastefully decorated queen and twin rooms. Take it easy or see the sights, you'll find plenty to keep you busy. Bush horse-riding can be found just 500 metres up the road at Yarrabin; the O'Connell and Tarana pubs are a short drive away as well as the highly recommended O'Connell Café. Mayfield Gardens can be found a pleasant 15 minute drive towards Oberon. Jenolan Caves are a popular attraction, with tours and various activities held throughout the year. If you're interested in shopping, you'll enjoy the boutique shops and cafes in Bathurst, just 25 minutes away. Also in Bathurst you can experience the world-famous Mount Panorama race track, a mecca among car racing enthusiasts, and don't forget to visit the Mount Panorama Museum.
