"This apartment is one of the best places we've ever stayed. It is hidden away from the street, very private, and is elevated up amomg the tree tops.
The interior is furnished to a very high standard with top quality fittings and appliances- it also has very comfortable furniture. The bed is very good with quality linen, and a good nights sleep is guaranteed.
Everything is maintained to the highest standard, is kept immaculately clean.
It's somewhere you could happily move in to!
The location is superb- its only 30 minutes by train from Sydney CBD, yet far enough away to be well out of the hustle and bustle. Nearby Hornsby is only 5 minutes drive, and has a great shopping complex with restaurants.
One of the great things about the apartment is the animals- rainbow lorikeets, cockatoos, kookaburras and possums have all been encouraged to visit the apartment, and do so daily. (and nightly) Breakfast on the balcony is a meal for many as the birds turn up every morning for feeding- it makes for memorable meal times.
Ron and Jan are great hosts- happy to chat and are full of good advice for anyone new to Sydney- we didnt do any tours with them as we know the area but I think anyone taking a tour with them would have a great time. They also leave you to get on with things too- they've got the balance just right.
We will definately return again when we go back to Sydney and would recommend it to anyone looking for a chilled out stay away from the city, but close enough to enjoy it when you want to.
It took us a while to find this place when we were searching for accomodation, but it was definately worth the trouble, and it offers great value."
