River at the front door and sea out the back... what more could you ask for? These holiday units are right at the centre of the most relaxed fishing village on the Wooli peninsula. You could be forgiven if you thought you had gone back in time and arrived in a past era.

4 Modern air-conditioned units, 2 brand new and 2 fully refurbished will allow you to just kick back and relax. All living areas open up through large sliding doors onto the spacious and private balconies provided for your enjoyment of all the superb views over the Wooli river or for just watching the most glorious sun sets as a fishing boat occasionally chugs past.

Top units interconnect for large groups of up to 17 (includes 2 sofa beds in living rooms) Ground floor unit has grab rails in shower and toilet for accessibility. One first floor unit has a small bath for children.

FREE on-site kayaks or canoes will enable you to enjoy boating, fishing or just explore the most pristine fishing river in Australia. Deep sea fishing charters leave from the jetty just over the road.

Coffee connoisseurs may like to stay in 'Gone surfing' with its own coffee maker, just bring your favourite coffee.

Locality


The village of Wooli is blessed by the natural beauty which surrounds it. Encircled by the Yuraygir National park, the village is located on a narrow peninsula with the Wooli River on its western side and the Pacific Ocean to the east. The kids love to play in the gentle waters of the river while the older ones take to the surf breaks in the ocean.

As the gateway to the Solitary Islands Marine Park, Wooli is the perfect place for those wanting to explore the natural underwater beauty of the marine park by deep-sea diving.

The Wooli River can be explored for around 20km by canoe or boat, there is simply no more leisurely or civilised way of immersing yourself in the simple joys of Wooli or a better way to observe the Kangaroos, emus, black-necked storks, brolgas, kingfishers, parrots and all manner of wildlife which make their home along the banks of this pristine river system.

Not to mention the many kilometres of secluded beaches in and around Wooli, visitors love to find their own favourite spots to swim, surf, fish, walk or relax.

There are the most amazing walks along the coastline down to the next village of Diggers Camp which alternates between walking along the beach, cliff tops and rock pools.

Tennis courts, restaurants, bowling club are all here, and not to forget the great social life as you just walk the streets and beaches, everyone is so friendly.

Wooli is a 30 minute drive from Grafton Airport, 6 hrs from Sydney, 4 hrs from Brisbane and 1 hour from Coffs Harbour. Rex Airlines fly to Grafton 7 days a week.

Property is on the Wooli Wooli river with a small beach access just across the road. Usually there are two kayaks and two 2-3 person canoes available for guest use.

The downstairs units have level access to a good size play area outside. Pandanus has a small bath for the kids. Seychelles has a cot if required

Fishing


Fishing spots available nearby, Located on waterfront, Located less than 5 mins walk to water, Boatramp within 5 minute drive, Boat hire available nearby, Boat storage/parking available onsite.

you can take an onsite kayak out on the river for fishing, just walk over to the beach for beach fishing, a 2 minute walk, or cast your line into the river just across the road and watch your line from your own balcony. Otherwise the popular fishing spot on one of the jetties is a 2 minute walk down the road. Usually there is room on the road reserve to park a boat and the boat ramp is a 2 minute drive down the road. The solitary islands marine park is a very popular and sucessfull fishing straight out from the wooli river entrance. Deep sea fishing tours and diving expeditions leave from the jetty just across the road.

All balconies have beautifull views of the Wooli Wooli river and the Yuragir national Park on the otherside of the river and you see the most spectacular sunsets over the river.
