Depending on the weather, breakfast is served in the dining room or on our sunny rear verandah. You will enjoy a hearty breakfast of fresh fruits, yoghurt and cereals, home baked bread and a selection of hot food if you choose a pempering package.

Feeling lazy and want to relax? Make yourself a "cuppa" and sample one our home baked cookies then sit on our front verandah and watch the activity on the river, read one of our many books or magazines or take a wander around our garden and enjoy the colours and perfumes of a variety of blooms. We also have a supply of word puzzles and board games for your enjoyment.

Stockton is famous for its excellent fishing facilities and its beaches are ideal for surfing.
Newcastle is just a 3 minute ferry ride away yet far enough for holiday makers to feel that they are far removed from the bustle of city life.
At our doorstep is wide open spaces with a walking and cycle path which prove popular with picnicers, surfers, bird watchers, cyclists, sports enthusiasts and fisher folk alike.
As well as our beautiful surf beach, you can enjoy a game of lawn bowls, tennis or perhaps golf at the renowned Newcastle Golf Club. There are clubs and hotels for great meals or you can travel on the ferry to Newcastle's famous Queen's Wharf and Honeysuckle areas where you can enjoy fine dining. A short distance from the wharf are movie and live theatres for your entertainment as well as shopping and weekend markets.
We can arrange tours to the Hunter Valley vineyards, sand dune adventures, dolphin and whale watching cruises, helicopter flights, wind surfing, hang gliding, and cruises on Newcastle Harbour and Port Stephens.
A few minutes drive will get you to the Shortland or Kooragang Wetlands, Blackbutt Reserve and many varied picnic areas.
