Redhead Beach Cottage B&B is a relaxing and welcoming home-style Bed & Breakfast experience with the beauty of an unspoilt and safe beach within an easy 5 minute stroll.

Redhead Beach Cottage is perfect for the guest who wishes to be re-invigorated by the fresh sea air or for those who wish to just unwind. Your hosts - Pieta and Hans - welcome you to enjoy a friendly and unhurried stay.

GENERAL
Your tariff includes provisions for a Continental Breakfast allowing you to choose when you would like to eat; or, for the more romantic, why not grab a blanket and breakfast on the beach. For a little extra we can provide you with a full hot breakfast served on the covered patio.
Apart from your accommodation, our guests also have full use of our garden. Outdoor covered seating area tables and chairs, and b-b-que are all provided. With subdued evening lighting and soft music this very peaceful and romantic area has a special feel about it.

Redhead Beach Cottage is situated just one minutes drive or just a few minutes stroll to the golden shores of Redhead Beach. With 9 miles of uninterrupted coastline our beach is safe, clean and unspoilt.

It is a perfect location for those keen surfers, or for those who just want a seaside escape. Red head beach is also accessible for four wheel driving enthusiasts and is one of only a very few pet friendly beaches available in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

When your tired of sun and surf why not take one of our areas beautiful nature walks. Explore the Bluff which gives magnificent views or walk the coastline through native bush walking/push bike trails.

Also, within walking distance of the cottage, you have local restaurants, a bakery, newsagents, takeaway, a general store, and Bowling Club.

As we are centrally located, Redhead Beach Cottage is also perfect for those guests wishing to explore Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Region and the Wine Country - all within an easy drive.

Redhead Beach Cottage is situated within a 1 minute drive of Redhead Beach, a 7 minute drive of Charlestown Shopping Center, the largest in Newcastle with shops, restaurants and cinemas. Within 10 minutes drive of beautiful Warners Bay and Lake Macquarie. With its foreshore and parks, shops, cafes and restaurants.

Lake Macquarie offers a wonderful place to picnic, sail or undertake some water sports, swim, dine out or just explore. Why not try “jazz in the park” every Friday evening throughout summer.

If you have the time and would like to explore a little more, the magnificent hunter wineries are just a short 60 minutes drive away and the thriving city of Newcastle, with its beaches and cosmopolitan feel is only a 20 minute drive away.
