Bed & Breakfast

Hamilton East Guest Stay is ideally suited to both the corporate traveller wanting more space and comfort than is found in hotel-type accommodation, guests visiting Newcastle for a family event and the visitor wanting to explore the wider Newcastle area.

You will marvel at the sheer elegance, size, comfort, convenience and privacy of the surrounds.

Guest accommodation is completely separate from that of the owner, and guests have their own lounge and dining room with welcoming fireplace and period furniture - including a 14 seater table. Bedrooms open off the hallway, and guests share the beautiful period-style bathroom with brass fittings. Guests also have their own garden and entrance. Facility is fully air conditioned.

An extended continental breakfast basket is provided for you to serve at your leisure, featuring juice, yogurt, cereal, bread, pastries, ham, cheese, tomato ..... with plunger coffee or leaf tea. Served on Wedgewood crokery with silver cutlery on lace placemats - this is an absolute joy!

There is a choice of 3 bedrooms - the King Garden Deluxe, the Double Deluxe or the King Deluxe (or 2 extra-long singles). All have luxurious cloud-like mattress toppers and electric blankets - you won't feel like getting out of bed!

Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided, as well as a fridge and microwave. Television, games and broadband internet access are also available, and laundry facilities can be provided on request.

You won't believe you have found Newcastle's jewel until you see it, so inspection is welcome!

Locality

Conveniently located close to the CBD. Buses to all major areas, like Newcastle University, Mater and John Hunter Hospitals, Entertainment Centre, Broadmeadow Racecourse, Energy Australia Stadium. Short stroll to art galleries, harbour, beaches, museums, Honeysuckle precinct, Conservatorium of Music and the dining areas of Beaumont St, Darby St and The Junction. 6 short blocks to Wickham Rail Station.

Built around 1930, this grand property has been recently restored and refurbished to an extremely high standard of luxury, elegance and style. It features high ornate ceilings, large bedrooms and a huge guest lounge and dining room, with bedrooms opening off a large hallway.

The 3 bedrooms each sleep up to 2 people and share the beautiful period bathroom.
