From the moment you arrive at Fern Gulley Retreat you feel a serenity that only comes from being this close to nature. You're living in luxury yet in complete harmony with the Blackwood River Valley. Relax on the varandah of your chalet and let the countryside soothe the stress of city living.

Fern Gulley Retreat has been designed for adult relaxation only, we do not cater for children or pets.

Fern Gulley Retreat, with it's impressive twin bridge entrance, lanscaped gardens, billabongs and of course the majestically serene Blackwood River ,is an ideal "adults only" retreat in an undisturbed country setting,with only two luxury chalets[one with a tropical soft tub spa bath, on your own private balcony. designed for total relaxation,where you can just relax,sip wine, cook a steak and listen to the sounds of Natures Heaven.
Swim in our out-door wilderness swimming pool or take a pleasant stroll along the banks of the Blackwood or visit one of the many local attractions.

We will make you very welcome and will arrange for your evening meal to be delivered from Tathra winery & restaurant to your door if you have no desire to cook your own.

A large selection of videos is available for those cosy nights curled in front of the log fire.

Fern Gully is situated 14Kms from Nannup or 27Kms from Balingup, on the Blackwood River Valley Tourist drive route 251, just 400 metres across the road from Tathra restaurant Winery.

Centrally located, providing easy access to most tourist destinations in the states south Western corner.

Locality

Fern Gully is Situated within 1 hours traveling of most tourist destinations,within the states southwest. Route 251 Balingup to Nannup road is one of the most picturesque drives in WA, you will have no trouble reaching the SURFING coast or vineyards of Margaret River or the giant Karri forrests of Pemberton, as well as Busselton underwater observatory,or see two mighty oceans meet at Augusta-being the Indian and Southern--get the feeling of being the only ones standing on the most southerly corner tip of Western Australia--

Ferngulley was created in 1995 by Ian and Bonnie Baxter, who after visiting the region felt it was very much like the Meon valley in Englands southwest,where we lived, and the location was a far cry from Londons west end-where Ian spent some 12years.A private nature and animal reserve lends itself to total relaxation, where you can escape from the mobile phone/forget about the tv[we do have videos]--REMEMBER your peace of mind, tranquility in natures heaven will make it worth the visit.
