Poinciana Motel is centrally located in Murwillumbah, just a kilometre south of the railway station on the road towards Ballina. Our ten rooms are in a two story Mediteranean style designed motel in a setting so quiet that all you can hear is the birds singing. Yet we are only 20 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport.

Nearby there are many places to visit including the magnificent Mt Warning, Tweed Coast, the Border Ranges, Nightcap and Lamington National Parks.

Mount Warning is only 18 Kilometers from the Poinciana Motel, and the walk to the top of the 1157 meter high mountain is a memorable one. For the less adventurous travellers there is the much shorter Lyre Bird track. The Natural Arch and glow worm caves are only a short drive away.
