Just relax and enjoy the serenity, explore the walking trails, schedule some massage and pampering, or visit the many amazing attractions offered by the area.

When you stay at the Fernvale Farm Cottage breakfast provisions are delivered each day, however you can book an a la carte breakfast at the Fernvale Farmhouse if you prefer - the Fernvale Farmhouse can cater to any appetite!

Featuring local and farm grown produce, espresso coffee and the best Devonshire Tea for miles, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on the Mount Warning Deck of the Farmhouse, or take a picnic hamper with you. Hampers and piping hot meals can also be delivered to the cottage if you prefer the privacy without the cooking.

Fernvale Farm Cottage is 5km south of Murwillumbah, on the Tweed Valley Way, around 25 minutes south of Gold Coast Airport.

The Region
Nestled right in the middle of the scenic Tweed Valley, you will never be at a loss for something to do while staying at the Fernvale Farmhouse, or perhaps you'll never want to leave the serenity!

Fernvale, Murwillumbah and the Tweed Valley region is possibly the best kept secret in NSW - easily accessible, with temperate weather, surrounded by spectacular World Heritage Listed National Parks and bordered by a stunning coastline.

Within an easy drive is Byron Bay, Tweed Coast, Gold Coast, Nimbin and Fernvale is situated 25 mins from Gold Coast Airport.

The Accommodation

The Fernvale Farm Cottage sleeps up to six, has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, living area with TV, DVD and stereo, bathroom and two separate toilets, the house is surrounded by wide verandas with stunning views across the Tweed Valley and there is a great play house and swings for kids (when they are not feeding the ducks or calves! )!

Special rates are available for extended stays, group bookings and we welcome children, with childrens' meals, cot, high chair, books and toys made available upon request (free of course!)

The regional centre of Murwillumbah has all the charm and convenience of a big country town and is also positioned so close to an incredibly beautiful coast.

excellent sports facilities, including the NEW Murwillumbah swimming facility (including slides and four pools, below);
the magnificent Tweed River where you can swim, dive, row, paddle, ski or cruise;
five wonderful World Heritage Listed National Parks, including the challenging climb to the peak of Mt Warning to be the first in Australia to witness a new day;
offers acclaimed regional art galleries and studios;
has regular local markets; and
has a fantastic calendar of country shows and activities,including The Festival of Speed on Tweed,a classic car speed trial through the streets of Murwillumbah over three days in early September.

Close By:
Byron Bay is am easy 35 min drive south of Fernvale;
the Gold Coast and all the attractions are around 40 mins north. Kids love the chance to wake up on the farm and then visit Sea World, Movie World, Dreamworld or Wet’n’Wild!;
around 25 minutes east, along gorgeous country roads, you will be at the coast, where you can enjoy Pottsville, Kingscliff and all the new facilities of Cabarita, including The Golden Door Day Spa.
