Cottage, Bed & Breakfast

The church is one of Mudgee's original country churches built in 1939 & now situated on "Harrowfield" vineyard just 6.5kms from Mudgee. When operating as a church it could seat 50 parishioners at the monthly services conducted by visiting priests, but now just accommodates up to 4 guests.

Renovated to provide quality, self-contained, private accommodation. 'A Church in Mudgee' offers you the best of both worlds; you are close to Mudgee and it's attractions, while staying in the peaceful countryside.

The church is open plan. In the area where the congregation would have once sat is a comfortable sitting room and kitchenette. The bedroom area, previously the altar and now screened from the living space, has a queen-size bed and a single.

The kitchenette is equipped with small fridge, micro-wave, kettle and toaster. A gas BBQ is on the terrace outside, and the cupboards are well stocked with crockery, glassware and cutlery.

There is a wood fire for cool nights (and a plentiful supply of wood) and air-conditioning and overhead fans in summer.

Breakfast supplies are provided.

'The Church' is in a quiet corner of the garden and has extensive views of the garden, vineyard and valley. It has a private outdoor area to allow you to enjoy the extensive views and abundant birdlife. A swimming pool and all weather tennis court are there for your enjoyment or take a walk through the vineyard or around the farm.

'The Church' only accommodates one family or couple at a time.... exclusively yours to enjoy.
