"We had a great time. The cabin was lovely all modern cons with rustic appreance. Bruce the owner was very friendly and made us very welcome. The property is very pretty with wonderful views. We had two 15year old boys with us who were entertained at all times.

"We lost our beagle hound for 6 days. Came back to the cabin by himself hungry, smelly, thirsty and tired. We were much relieved. The whole of the community assisted in looking for him. Happy endings all round. Loved the location, loved Mudgee."

"One of the best aspects of Shady Creek is the Australian bush which enabled us to "chill-out" immediately. The cabin is wonderful with everything you need for rest and recreation! Our pooch, Monty loved the creek, a bit of a hike back up for us seniors!

"We gave our 3 night break 5/5 at 'Shady Creek Rustic Cabin.' The cabin was much larger than we expected and very comfortable for our family of 2 adults/2 children and 2 large dogs! The kids had a ball and dogs couldn't believe their luck! We will definitely return to 'Shady Creek' for another relaxing holiday. Bruce was a mine of local information, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Manika for a luxurious massage, also!Enjoy."

"We'll be back, without the kids, and just relax, but they had a great time too finding yabbies and exerting lots of energy running down to the creek and back.
The fact that Bruce built the house from scratch himself added endlessly to our weekend's conversation.
The perfect place to sit back, relax and soak up nature with a good book or a bottle of red.
We would have loved to stay longer."
