Pets are welcome at Shady Creek. We know that pet lovers love to enjoy a holiday with their four legged family members. There is plenty of room for dogs to run and play, a secure area when you are away and bowls and kennel are available by request.

Cottage, Self-contained apartment, Cabins

The Shady Creek Cabin is a spectacular rustic timber cottage set on the hill side above a large expanse of parkland that runs along a creek.

Imagine peaceful and serene walks along the creek or steep, challenging country hikes. Swinging in a hammock with a book, or just sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and listening to bird songs. There's the traditional Aussie bush barbie by the creek, swings for the kids and plenty of room for the kids and dog to play.

The cabin is fully self contained and features all modern conveniences, including air conditioning and a microwave oven.

Locality

Shady Creek is just a 15 minute drive west of Mudgee on the Hill End Rd.

There are interesting historical sites to visit in the area as well as some of the famous Mudgee wineries.

The district is well known for gold, and visitors to the area can take home small trophys after trying their hand at prospecting.

Gold diggers have left many marks on the Shady Creek land, and you can try your hand at gold panning and prospecting if you wish. Hill End and Windeyer are well known for gold in the creeks.
