Attunga Park Country Retreat is an 81 acre property situated in the green pastures of the Tweed Valley. Just 30 minutes from Coolangatta airport, we offer all the peace and tranquility of a country setting with town facilities in Murwillumbah a short 10 minute drive away.

Attunga Park is ajoining the Rous River where secluded riverside banks are yours to enjoy a spot of fishing, or just take a hamper down to the river and enjoy the serenity.
For your use we have mountain biking,
swimming pool, massage and beauty treatments are available by appointment in the privacy of your own room and garden enthusiasts can enjoy a lesuirely walk around our manicured lawns, native trees and exotic shrubs and flowers which attract a vast variety of birdlife.
Local attractions include Mt Warning, Byron Bay, local markets,national parks, art galleries, golf, strawberry picking,country cafes,horse riding, 4wd Park and scuba diving

We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. The cottage is a delightful home and so elegantly decorated and stocked with all the essentials, plus a few more!
I will not hesitate to recommend it to families and friends looking for a peaceful retreat.

Locality

From Murwillumbah:
Take Murwillumbah Exit from either North or South

Follow signs into Town Centre, go over blue bridge into Wollumbin St

Wollumbin Street, go through roundabout (KFC should be on your right) the next roundabout (SPAR on corner) take a right then take a left at the post office on the corner. First right into Queensland Road.

Queensland Road until you go over bridge and take first left into Numinbah Road

Numinbah Road for approx 5kms

Nobbys Creek road just before Boatharbour Bridge, do not go over it…..

Follow around to the left and continue for 2.2kms

All dogs regardless of size are permitted in Fig Tree Cottage, it has a fenced area but they are welcome inside. Small/medium dogs are permitted in 2 of our pet friendly cabins, there is no fencing but they are welcome indoors. Cats are permitted in all of our pet friendly accommodation but must be kept indoors. We have a very social West Highland Terrier “Zoe” who may visit the cabins from time to time but Fig Tree Cottage is secluded from the rest of the accommodation.
