Cottage

The villas and cottages are literally hundreds of metres apart over a beautiful and diverse landscape, with expansive views to the surrounding mountains.

Modern interiors and facilities include two person spas, cosy fire, large LCD or plasma satellite TV's, Bose surround sound and DVD/CD players and IPOD docking stations.

There are three, luxury one bedroom split level open plan villas and two, two bedroom cottages with private bathrooms, The Creek cottage has an adjoining loft bedroom for an extra couple making it perfect for family and friends, but is still a romantic option for one couple.

Breakfast hampers for a full breakfast are provided for your arrival and include free range eggs and plunger coffee, while advance notice is required for in-house massage, restaurant transfers by car of helicopter, and winery/golf tours.

Four deluxe dwellings (Terrace, Ridge, Creek and Gums cottages)are dotted throughout this dense, 40ha valley perched on the side of a mountain valley. Completely secluded from one another, this could be the most private and luxurious boutique outfit currently operating in the Hunter. With simple exteriors and expansive verandahs, each cottage's interior is a study in clean, simple, modern elegance.

Locality

Take a short scenic drive to local boutique wineries along Mt View Rd, which also leads to the Pokolbin wineries, fine dining, cafes, event venues, galleries, craft shops, antique stores and speciality shops and Hunter Valley Gardens. Relax and indulge in beauty treatments and the steam room at The Golden Door Resort Spa in Pokolbin.

Robert Molines and his wife Sally have opened Bistro Molines (a chefs hatted restaurant and wedding venue) at Tallavera Grove Vineyard and Briar Grillade at Briar Ridge Vineyard. These are alfresco dining venues with expansive vineyard views and a relaxed ambience but with the slick service they are known for.

Indulgence packages include helicopter pickup from your villa or cottage and flown to a restaurant and cellar door tastings at two properties through to in-house massage.

Property

Cedars Mount View is less that 20 minutes to the heart of Pokolbin, 20 minutes to the historic village of Wollombi and 12 minutes to Cessnock for shopping. The nearest airport is next to the visitors information centre at Pokolbin. The historic village of morpeth and Maitland are about 30 minutes drive.

Mount View's acclaimed boutique wineries such as Petersons, Briar Ridge, Tallavera Grove, Mount VIew Estate, Saddlers Creek and Savannah Estate are a short scenic drive from Cedars.
