Cottage, Holiday house

Bellbird Cottage (sleeps 2-4), Broadmeadow (sleeps 4-6) and Swallows homestead (sleeps 4-8) are far enough apart for privacy but close enough together to make family and/or friends getaways a popular way to experience old style country living in these comfortable, unpretentious retreats.
Birdwatching, wine drinking, painting and drawing, walking, daydreaming, reading, boules, photography, hammock-snoozing, bbqs, board games or just doing nothing are some of the favourite occupations. There are many others close by.

"We love it which is why we come back at least twice a year!" Merran and friends.
"We always plan to do a lot when we stay at Swallows but we always end up not going beyond the front gate. One day we might make it, but I doubt it." Sandy and Di.

Locality

While secluded and private, Bellbird, Swallows and Broadmeadow are actually within 15 minutes of the hustle and bustle of Pokolbin and its wineries; a fine boutique winery is within walking distance, the superb Molines restaurant is 5 minutes up the road and many other good eateries are easily reached.
Excellent grocery shopping is available in Cessnock (15 minutes) and many guests like to just stay around the house and relax.
