A quiet relaxed park only minutes from the main shopping district of Mount Gambier, Pine Country Caravan Park offers a beautiful natural setting for the discerning traveler to call home. Whether you are looking for a campsite, a powered site or an ensuite cabin, we have a budget friendly option available for you. Set amongst fertile farmland we are far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We do our best to maintain the landscaped gardens and keep the amenities immaculate so that everyone can enjoy their stay. We Offer our patrons the following facilities, Camp Kitchen and Free Gas BBQs, Grass Tennis Court, Camp Fire Pits and Guest Laundry (Coin-Op). Being Pet Friendly, we also offer a paddock where dogs are permitted off-leash. If you are looking for a welcoming, relaxed, friendly park to stay in, then you have found the right place.

Spotless, super dog friendly, safe and close to town. Our Family of 6 stayed here in the last school holidays, the amenities were fantastic, the staff friendly and greatly approachable, the tariff was super reasonable. Only a short distance from town far enough out to be quiet and restful. The playground was a great attraction for the kids.
Overall this is a fantastically affordable and superbly clean caravan park, that would be well suited to anyone... Do yourself a favour and stay at this park!!!!

Local Attractions


A quiet stroll of just over one kilometre from Pine Country Caravan Park you can find the world famous Blue Lake. An extinct volcano, this natural wonder mysteriously changes to a vivid cobalt blue from late November until the following March/April. This is the most famous of many local attractions in the region, including the crater lakes and Valley Lake Wildlife Park and the spectacular views from Centenary Tower and Mount Schank. Also popular are myriad of caves, sink holes and volcanic craters in the area including the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves and the Princess Margaret Rose Cave just across the Victorian border. With arguably the best red wine in the world from the nearby Coonawarra wine region, a wine tasting day trip is also a must do. Swimming in the little blue lake is an experience not to be missed as is meeting the possums at Umpherston Sinkhole. Also well worth a visit is Port MacDonnell, the Rock Lobster Capital of South Australia and a River Cruise up the picturesque Glenelg River from nearby Nelson.
