Morpeth Lodge Motel, built in 2006, is part of Hunter Tennis Resort. Sitting on 4 acres, guests can enjoy a game of tennis, soccer, cricket, table-tennis, swim in the pool, enjoy a BBQ, or simply just enjoy the peaceful setting.

The Morpeth Lodge Motel consists of 9 new rooms each with single or double beds, ensuite, air-conditioner and heater facilities, TV, DVD player, safe, bar fridge, toaster and kettle with tea and coffee provided. A separate Kitchen/Common Room & Laundry facilities are also available for visitors use. The motel has a capacity to hold 24 guests and individual or group bookings are accepted.

There are several restaurant/cafes in Morpeth which are only 15 minute walk or 1 minute driveaway and a Continental Breakfast Basket is available at the motel if required for $7.00 per person.

Morpeth Lodge Motel is surely a hidden gem in the Hunter - the rooms are lovely and the grounds exceptional. The children loved being able to swim, play tennis and soccer, whilst we sat back and watched them having a great time. Excellent value for money.

Locality

Morpeth is considered to be the hub of the Hunter with beautiful beaches and waterways in one direction and the famous Hunter Valley Vineyards and other tourist attractions in the other direction. Maitland town centre is only minutes away from the resort and there are various shops also only a short drive away. The city of Newcastle is only a half hour drive away & the resort is less than 2 hours drive from Sydney and within 30 mins of Newcastle airport.
Maitland Gaol is just down the road and offers tours as well as the opportunity to play laser skirmish in this great setting. Also close by is an indoor go-karting track for those over the age of 13. Wine tours can be arranged with a pick-up from the Motel.
